Here’s what you can order with your Vivint security system
Unlike other home security companies, Vivint’s security and automation systems are available to renters. Find out about just a few of the most popular devices and services:
Burglary prevention
Motion alarms and glass break sensors can notify you when an unwanted guest breaks into your apartment or rental house. Get a text to your phone when an device triggers, or arm and disarm your components remotely so you can let in maintenance or guests when you’re not home.
Environmental safety detectors
Ordinary smoke detectors will come as part of your rental unit, but probably not other safety sensors. Hang a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or water sensor to warn you and the monitoring agents to catastrophes before it’s too late.
HD security cameras
A security cameras may be wirelessly installed so you can keep watch on certain rooms. A doorbell camera allows you view -- and talk to -- visitors at the front door. See real-time HD feeds and alerts about lurkers through the mobile security app.
24-hour monitoring
A great benefit of using Vivint is the monitoring experts backing up triggered alarms. If a device goes off, your monitoring agents immediately notifies you to see if you’re safe. Then they’ll contact the proper emergency personnel.
Smart home devices
Home automation items, like smart lights, can be added to make your apartment more eco-friendly. Some components like a replacement smart thermostat or smart door locks may need prior management approval.
The Vivint App
Your Orange County security system is able to be controlled anywhere through the Vivint App. Watch HD security camera feeds, remotely turn on and off alarms and cameras, or program times for alarms and lights. Then get alerts to your phone if an alarm goes off or a security camera detects a suspected lurker.
